Is this wig made to order?
Yes. Your wig is customized by hand based on the length, texture, lace, density, color, and styling options you choose. Most custom wigs need up to 10 business days, while more detailed designs may take up to two weeks before shipping.
How do I choose the right length and density?
Hair is measured while stretched straight, so curly and wavy textures will look shorter when worn. Choose density by the fullness you want: a natural density gives lighter movement, while a higher density creates a fuller look.
Can I color or heat-style the hair?
Yes. Human hair can be heat-styled and colored, but high heat and chemical processing can shorten its lifespan or change the texture. Use heat protectant, test a small section first, and have major color changes done professionally.
How should I care for the hair?
Detangle gently from the ends upward, wash with sulfate-free shampoo, condition regularly, and use heat protectant before hot tools. Let the hair dry fully before storing it on a wig stand or in a clean satin bag.
When will my hair order ship?
Most custom wigs need up to 10 business days before shipping, and more detailed designs may take up to two weeks. Once the wig ships from Chicago, you’ll receive an email with tracking.
What if I need to return it?
Wig sales are final because each unit is customized or sold as a personal-use hair item. If your wig arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email service@princehaircompany.com within seven days of delivery so we can make it right.
